Winston Peng

President

Founder

Winston Peng is a pioneer in enterprise risk management with over 25 years of experience, having delivered more than 1,000 consulting engagements for over 50 listed corporations in Malaysia. He founded Ceope in 1997, expanding services to China, Japan, and Singapore. In 2010, he developed and deployed an AI-based water risk management system for Sarawak. Winston has organised policy roundtables, led regulatory sandboxes, advanced sustainability reporting, and spearheaded indigenous quantitative ERM standards. He is also developing CultureOS, a platform for cultural sustainability governance. Winston is a Certified Internal Auditor. 

Haikel Ismail

Deputy President

Haikel is an accomplished risk and assurance professional with over 20 years of experience in senior management roles. He has led risk and internal audit functions for the largest companies in civil engineering, oil & gas, water, and telecommunications, as well as state-owned enterprises undergoing transformation. His expertise spans governance, assurance, and performance improvement, contributing to organizational resilience and strategic renewal. Haikel is also recognized for his leadership in management and finance and has served as a board member of IIA Malaysia. Haikel is a Certified Internal Auditor.

Nurhafiza Shahabudin

Treasurer

Co-Founder

Cik Nurhafiza is the Head of Risk, Sustainability and Compliance Division at a government-owned company spearheading one of Malaysia’s largest electrified rail projects. She previously led risk management for another iconic national development, where she contributed to the successful delivery of what was then Southeast Asia’s longest bridge. Combining expertise in financial, project, and operational risk, she has strengthened governance frameworks, enhanced resilience against uncertainty, and embedded sustainability principles into complex mega projects. She holds a Finance degree and a Master’s in Sustainability.

Vicki Hee

Secretary General

Vicki is a finance and business control leader with over two decades of experience in banking and financial services, specializing in financial management, auditing, and governance. She integrates risk management into financial planning, budgeting, and performance management to safeguard assets and ensure compliance. With extensive experiences in implementing risk-based internal controls, she enhances resilience, strengthens accountability, and drives sustainable outcomes. Vicki began her career with a Big 4 firm and is a Certified Internal Auditor and ACCA Fellow.

Dr. Yeah Kim Leng

Co-Founder

Professor Dr. Yeah Kim Leng is a leading Malaysian economist, serving as Professor of Economics and Director of the Economic Studies Programme at the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia, Sunway University. He is a member of the Prime Minister’s Policy Advisory Committee and Vice-President of the Malaysian Economic Association. He previously served on Bank Negara Malaysia’s Monetary Policy Committee and held senior roles as Group Chief Economist at RAM Holdings and Senior Analyst at ISIS Malaysia.

Ho Howe Tian

Howe Tian is a Sarawak-born tech business leader and marketing strategist based in Singapore. He was formerly Managing Director for Southeast Asia at RootCloud Technology, the industrial IoT arm of SANY Group, where he drove ESG solutions and carbon management initiatives. He is now Head of GTM, Asia at Univers, an AI + IoT company in sustainable energy management headquartered in Singapore. Earlier, he advanced digital transformation in IIoT at Emerson. At SCRP, his mission is to advance agentic AI for quantitative ERM.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Lee Khai Ern

Professor Ts. Dr. Lee Khai Ern, FASc, is Head of the Research Centre for Sustainability Science and Governance (SGK) at LESTARI UKM. He holds double bachelor’s degrees in Jurisprudence (UM) and Environmental Science (UMS), and MSc and PhD degrees in Environmental Technology (USM). He previously worked in a U.S.-based multinational as an IRCA-certified Lead Auditor across Asia-Pacific. At UKM, he also served as Deputy Director and Chief Instrumentation Officer at CRIM. He is currently Principal Fellow at LESTARI, Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, Senior Fellow of UN SDSN, Fellow at the Jeffrey Sachs Centre (Sunway), Professional Technologist (MBOT), Certified ESG Practitioner (CMI), and an Accredited Panel Mediator with the Malaysia International Mediation Centre, Bar Council of Malaysia.
